The Future of Light Clients

However, light clients have kept up with Ethereum’s future, Layer 2s. Implementations for layer 2s have been mostly overlooked. This is due to both the low prioritization of work on light clients and significant technical challenges. In this talk, we will discuss the path to layer 2 light clients and our work to bring them to production in Helios.

I plan to speak on the concept of based sequencing (based rollups). I want to not only introduce the concept but also explain recent developments (what I like to call next generation based rollups). This includes based preconfirmations, fast->realtime proving, customizable composability, practical synchronous composability, among others.
